Counties will share $65.1 billion of this amount via direct allocations from the U.S. Treasury. On May 10, 2021, Saline County was notified of an award in the amount of $10,532,376. Per terms of the Act, funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024, and fully expended no later than December 31, 2026.

On August 31, 2021, the Saline County Board of Commissioners approved a Framework for spending the funds received by the County. A copy of this Framework can be viewed in the Documents section of this web page. As individual programs within this Framework are announced, they will be posted on this page as well.
